John R. Beaty , 71, went into the presence of the Lord on December 5, 2020.  He was born April 26, 1949 to the late Harry and Arlene Beaty . He graduated from Manchester High School and Stark Technical College and worked as an electrical technician for the Timken Company for 40 years.  He most recently fellowshipped with The Chapel in Green. For many years, he served with Christian Service Brigade and always longed to see others come to a deeper knowledge of and obedience to Jesus Christ through the Scriptures.

He is survived by his wife, Frances (Fran) ; brother, Don (Georgia) Beaty ; and his nephews and cousins.

With COVID restrictions now eased, a memorial service will be held at The Chapel in Green, 1800 Raber Rd., parking lot D and door D, on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Family requests no live flowers or plants and any desired memorial gifts may be made to The Chapel in Green in memory of John. Condolences and memories may be shared with the Beaty family at the funeral home website www.bacherfuneralhome.com.

Fran, I'm so sorry to read of John's passing. I'm grateful to have gotten to know him and you. His love of the Lord was very evident in his life and his teaching our ABF. Always looked forward to hearing his thoughts and insights. God knows your deep loss and is there to walk with you each day. My deepest sympathy and prayers.

John was an excellent electrician at Timken Research and a friend to all. He was always pleasant and happy to help. I am glad I had the chance to know him.

Fran and family, We're so sorry at John's passing. We know he is with the Lord. We have many fond memories of John and cousins. We remember many Thanksgivings with Uncle Art. May you find comfort in all your memories and the knowledge that he is in no more pain.

Dear Friends, It just today (Dec 23) occurred to me that there might be notes on this site that I should check for! Thank you to each one who wrote! Each warms my heart and brings tears and joy, both familiar and unfamiliar names. Thank you for taking the time to write! I miss him terribly even though I am confident he is now with his Lord and Savior and free from sorrows, and I rejoice in that. Your comments are a comfort!

Dear Fran - so sorry to learn of Johns recent death. I enjoyed getting to know you both through Joy Sowers ABF at NC Chapel. John was lots of fun, friendly and very well versed in his Scripture knowledge! He will be missed by so many. Grieve your loss but celebrate he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

John was a fine christian man who was a good friend that I had many skiing adventures with out west and in Vermont over the years. I was always impressed with how he lived out his faith in his daily life. I am so sorry for your loss, Fran, but I know you realize that he's in a much better place now. As REV 21:4 says "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things is gone."

Condolences to the family. John was a friend. He was a bit older than I was so when I was in Junior high and high school and not yet driving he would give me rides to youth group and church events. :)

John and I went to Manchester together. He was in my first wedding because he and my ex were good friends. During my divorce John was always supportive. John had very strong beliefs and I was so happy when he met the perfect someone that was to become his wife. I am so sorry for your loss. He was one of the good ones.
