John Hollin

John E. Hollin , 71, passed away on July 27, 2021.  He was born April 17, 1950 in Akron, Ohio to the late Ray and Marciel Hollin . He was a caring physician and retired after many years of serving his patients. John was an avid skater who entered and prevailed in countless competitions. John was a proud Mason who was a member of many Masonic lodges over the years. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, Past Mason of Victory Lodge #649 and was also the recipient of the Knight York Cross of Honor.

John was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hollin who died just days before him and is survived by his nephew, T.J. (Meghan) Hollin .

Funeral services will be held at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Victory Lodge #649 F&AM will be officiating the funeral service.  Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnels to Towers, in memory of John .
