I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a good friend to my brother Bill and my family will never forget that. He was kind & generous (he always kept us stocked in garlic) and always had a quick smile and little twinkle of mischief in his eye.He will be missed.

Not only was Uncle Joe my uncle he was my godfather! I spend many of day nights at his house, besides my father Vincent N. Murdocco Uncle Joe was my hero, leaving his home country of Italy, he did not hesitate to serve proudly his new country during Vietnam. And that some up Uncle Joe he never took the easy way out, he always worked for everything he obtained and never complained about what it might have cost him. even though I never could get him him to talk much much about his experience in the Army it was him and my grandpa who was in the Italian Air Force that inspired me to join the Navy! Even though my experience was cut short I wanted to follow in the footsteps! Uncle Joe when u get to heaven please tell my old man to answer me once in awhile I know he will listen to you I love you and always will!
