Anthony David "Tony" Kish

Anthony David "Tony" Kish, 50, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 from Covid-19 complications.

Tony was born on Saturday, Jan. 15, 1972 in Akron, Ohio to the late Jesse and Jeanette (Nichols) Kish and lived in the Uniontown area.
Tony was a member of Laborer’s Local Union 894. Tony’s compassion for life, family, friends and animals was larger than this world. He was funny, crazy, loving, caring, selfless but most of all, helpful to anyone in need.

Growing up, Tony’s passion was racing the BMX circuit with our dad. That passion grew into an obsession for anything with a motor. The love of his life was his custom-built Harley Davidson Soft Tail, four wheeling, dirt bike riding, going fast and shooting pool. He always had a project with his son Tyler. He was so intelligent, curious and could fix anything.

Along with his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Dru Kranshan; and uncle, Gerry Hyer. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kelly Kish; sons, Cory and Tyler; daughter, Stephanie (Brett); sisters, Debbie (Ken), Diane, Denise, and Julie (Dave); nieces and nephews, Bethany, Natalie, Elizabeth, Ali (Jim II), Jimmy, Josh, Thomas (Trisha), and Alton; great nephew and great niece, Jimmy III and Juliete; best friends, Corey and Paul; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Poppi and Miggiemoe; brother-in-law, Paul, Jr.; faithful dog, Lola; faithful cat, Theo; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday, 7:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave,). Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19, we request that those attending the Funeral Service and/or Visitation will practice social distancing and wear face masks.

From Tyler, I struggle to find the words to fit so many memories of love, happiness, joy and pain into a small paragraph. Tony was more than just a father he was my best friend. We watched over each other like the sun and moon watch over the earth. I will always cherish our long motorcycle rides on a summer day. Getting stuck in swamps riding dirtbikes, and star filled nights camping, laughing and talking of how bright our future will be. Tony's sudden and premature departure leaves a deep hole that seems too big to fill. He was loved by many and had a heart too big and kind for any of us to deserve.
