Tony Wayne Pendleton

Anthony "Tony" Wayne Pendleton, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Tony was born on Sunday, June 23, 1963 in Akron, Ohio to Wayne and Rachel (Vankirk) Pendleton. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1981. Tony Worked at multiple grocery chains which included Tasty Carryout, where he was nicknamed "Fridge". He enjoyed all sports, especially The Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State football teams.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vonda; grandfathers, Jessie and Robert; and close family friend, Thomas. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Rachel "Sue"; brothers, Charles, Robert, and James; sisters, Jerri (Glen) and Susan; 9 nieces; 4 nephews; and 8 great-nieces; close family friend, Steven; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319, Pastor Fred Webb Officiant. Visitation will be held One Hour Prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to a reception in Tony's honor following the service at the Chapparells Community Center, 2418 S. Arlington Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.
