Arlene Elizabeth Fankhauser

Arlene E. Fankhauser, 71, passed away May 16, 2008. Arlene was born on July 18, 1936 in Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Vena Houck and sister Marsha. Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 47 years William, sons Karl and John; sister, Audrey; brothers John and Alfred; Grandson, Kolton, adopted grandchildren, Olivia and Levin; special niece Susan; special nephew Marshall; loving dog Stubbs and a host of other nieces, nephews and special friends. A lifelong resident of Akron, Arlene enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, crafts and bingo. Her biggest joy was doing things for others and visiting with family and friends. She was an extremely loving wife and caring mother who will be missed by all who got to know her. Friends may call from 6-8 pm. On Tuesday May, 20.
