Beth Ann Sefluth

Beth Ann Sefluth (Link), 69, of Norton, Ohio ended her courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday, November 6, 2022; a battle fought with resilience, strength and lots of faith for over 31 years.
Beth was born on December 10, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Carol (Gettman) Link. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack, and brothers William and Terrence Link, Beth leaves behind her sister Sharlene Stouffer (Allen), sister-in-law Kathy Link, brother Kim Link (Vicki), and many special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that felt like family. Lastly, she leaves behind the loves of her life, her daughter Lauren Klancer, son-in-law Michael, and three amazing granddaughters Elise, Caroline, and Brooke. The last 10 years of her life were filled with such joy in watching Lauren become a mother and watching her grandchildren grow.
Beth grew up in West Akron and attended Buchtel High School. After graduation she went on to serve in the United States Air Force in Bitburg, Germany and Stateside. She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber where she met her beloved husband Jack. She went on to work at Akron Children’s Hospital in the Genetics Center where she made a family of friends that she always cherished.
Beth never met a stranger and was always ready to help no matter the circumstances or her circumstances. She lived her life in a way that just being around her, you felt loved and cared for. Her faith was as strong as her will, and as kind as she was you would not dare cross her because she fought hard for the things that she believed in.
Special thanks to her amazing family at Apostolic Christian Home, the staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve and Wooster Community Hospital. Your love, care, and friendship will never be forgotten. Special love and appreciation to Dr. Timothy Carrabine who took this battle with Beth from the beginning. Your compassion and ability to make us laugh while we walked through this difficult path makes you our hero.
Beth’s family invites friends to pay their respects Saturday, November 12th at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio, 10am-11am with services immediately following. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.

Beth was such a wonderful person. She gave me a place to stay when my husband was leaving the Air Force in New Mexico. I am glad that she and Jack will be together again. We will love you always!

Such sad news. The Link Family lived behind our family when we lived in Akron. I have such fond memories of Beth from my childhood. Friend and sometimes babysitter for my brothers. Sending prayers and condolences to her family.

Oh this news makes me sad. Beth and I were roommates at Chanute AFB in Illinois and she was one of my bridesmaids. She had the kindest heart. RIP Beth Ann Marie.

We first met Beth in Maine at our daughter and son-in-law's wedding where she smiled continuously enjoying every moment. Her sweet soul was apparent. Rest in peace.
