Betteann Marie Nime

Cuyahoga Falls - Betteann (Bee) (NEMECEK) Nime, age 66, passed away Jan 17, 2009; at her home after battling Melanoma Cancer. Bee was born Jan 4, 1943 in Akron, OH an only child to the late Matilda & Edward Nemecek. She was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for 37 years and a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Parish. Bee was a 1962 Graduate of St.Mary's High School where she met and married Theodore L. Nime. She worked as a Beautician for several years before starting their family in 1968 with the birth of their identical twin daughters Brijette & Beth and later following with her sons Edward and Ted. Bee's happiest moments were those she shared with her family or taking a last minute trip with her husband to Niagara Falls or Atlantic City. In more recent years they enjoyed Ted's retirement together traveling hundreds of miles in their Cadillac for a deli sandwich, trying out new restaurants that they enjoyed, or simply going for a drive together. Bee's glory in life was her Grandchildren. Camden (13) and Caiden (10) Genovese; Kaitlin (10) and Teddy (5) Nime. Her life changed immensely by becoming a Grandmother. She never passed an opportunity to rock her babies to sleep or spoil them all. She was affectionately known as MEEM and loved them all like no other. MEEM was always on hand to babysit or help out. Not a day went by that she didn't talk to or visit her little ones. She proudly displayed hundreds of pictures of each Grandchild and carried a portfolio in her purse to show anyone who seemed interested. She remembered every aspect of their "growing years" and every conversation ended with "Meem Loves You!" She leaves this life to join her parents, Ed & Matilda, Mother-in-Law Louise C. Nime, along with a host of family and friends who she will reunite with. Celebrating her life of 66 years is her devoted husband of 44 years, Theodore L. Nime and their children and spouses: Beth (Todd) Genovese, Edward (Mary) Nime, Ted Nime, Brijette Nime, Son-in-Law Bob Gojkov, her four Grandchildren and her Chocolate Lab, Maggie T. Sister & Brother-in-laws Carolyn and Steve Teberian, Edward & Wanda Nime, Cousins Robert (Ann Marie) Mittiga, Nanci Mittiga, along with a list of nieces and nephews. Our family would like to send a special Thank You to Friend and doctor, Dr. Atul Goswami & Staff, Summa Hospice Nurse Nate Clark, family friends: Dickie Bloniarz, Donna Dowler, Karen Lord, Colleen Billings and Cathy Bartko for always being there.
