Betty Louise Santilli

Betty L. Santilli, 102, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, she moved with her family to Akron in 1937. She retired as a medical assistant in 1983.

She is survived by  daughters, Janet (Robert) Lawry of California and Patricia (Gregory) DeLong of Ohio; grandson, Robert (Melinda) Lawry, Jr. of Alabama; great-granddaughter, McKenzie (Kiefer) Johnson of Tennessee; several nieces and a nephew.

Preceded in death by her first husband of 56 years, Frank M. Santilli, and second husband of 16 years, James O. Cummins; great-grandson, Robert Mason Lawry.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a service following at 11 a.m. at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, with Pastor Dwight Strickland officiating. Private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308, in memory of Betty L. Santilli.
