Bonnie J. Pruitt

Bonnie J. Pruitt, 87, passed away on February 7, 2018.  She was born January 13, 1931 in Mogadore, OH to the late Charles and Nina Gilger.  She  was a longtime member of the Cuyahoga Falls Women’s Club and a Silver Life Master in Bridge.  She was a famous cookie baker and tomato grower.  Bonnie was also a member of Northside Christian Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ridley; brothers, Richard (Anna Mae) Gilger, Charles (Vivian) Gilger; and sister, Ardis (George) Brubaker. 

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Pruitt; sons, Jay (Tammye) Pruitt, and Paul (Sharon) Stoyanov; granddaughter, Daphne; special niece, Irene (John) Hanagofsky; special friend and caregiver, Patricia Funk; and many other family members and friends.

The family will greet friends at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2 to 6 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Rd., Wadsworth, OH 44281 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.  Pastor Robin Hart officiating.
