Carla A. Southworth

Carla A. Southworth, 70, passed away on January 18, 2019. She was born August 23, 1948 in Akron to Stephen and Geraldine Toth. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1966 and retired from Akron General Medical Center in 2012. Carla attended First Evangelical Congregational Church. She enjoyed golfing, swimming, singing, casino trips, and going to the movies.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents; loving brother, Michael Toth; and great-niece, Britany. She is survived by her brothers, Terry (Betty) Toth and Marc Toth; niece, Joyce; and many friends.

A special thank you is given to Summa Hospice, Casey and Autumn for their loving care of Carla.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m., where a Celebration of Life Service will be held beginning at 2 p.m., Pastor Scott Carr officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Research Foundation, in memory of Carla.
