AKRON - Carol Jean (Kane) Clements, 77, passed away on January 19, 2023.
Carol was a founding member of Blessed Trinity Church, where she volunteered for 38 years preparing and serving funeral meals. She was also a faithful servant at Good Samaritan Hunger Center. Her passion was to make sure no one went hungry. She was married to Larry for 60 years in February. Together they had three children; Coleen, Jeanine, and Lori (they were all her favorite). She had 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Carol loved to send people cards, everyone that received a card from her knew to open it carefully since she was the confetti
queen. She loved spending time with her family and lunching with her Alpha J’s ladies group.
Carol was proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Betty Kane; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Violet and Pius Clements; brothers, Tom and Jack Kane; sisters-in-law; Pearl Kane and Martha DiLiberto; brother-n-law, Bill Clements; and grandson, Michael Sullivan.  She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Larry; her daughters, Coleen (Vince) Sullivan, Jeanine (Joe) Racano, and Lori (Joe) DiFrancesco; grandchildren, Anna (Ian) Grove, Dan (Valerie) Miller, Tim (LeeAnna) Miller, and Janie (Cody) Scott; great-grandchildren, Arielle, Noah Grove; Nathan, Natalie Miller, Landen, Oliver, Emerson and Athena Rose Scott; sisters, Susan Heltsley, Judi, Kathy Kane; brother, Tim (Kathy) Kane; sister-in-laws, Barbara Kane, Carol (Dick) Hennis; brother-n-laws, Denny (Margie) Clements, and Bob DiLiberto.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for their wonderful care. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 27, 2023 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (Akron), 300 East Tallmadge Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44310.  Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Samaritan Hunger Center at www.goodsamaritanhungercenter.org; or to Sam’s Fans, who provide music and art therapy to seriously ill children at www.samsfans.org.
