Carol Michele Trifonoff

Carol M. Trifonoff, 74, passed away on June 20, 2018. Carol was born in Cleveland, OH, to the late Nicholas and Wilma (Leonard) Trifonoff and lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a faithful member of Blessed Trinity and St. Vincent Catholic Churches. Carol was a graduate of St. Peter Grade School, St. Vincent High School (class of 1962) and the University of Akron (class of 1966) where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Carol was passionate about education. For 44 years, she taught and served the St. Francis De Sales Parish as a teacher for many years and as Principal for over 20 of those years. She loved gardening, animals, was a great collector and was a faithful Cleveland sports fan, even the Cleveland Browns. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas S. Trifonoff, III. She is survived by sister, Karen Trifonoff, brother, Robert Trifonoff, sister, Diane (Michael) Hamlin, sister, Janet (Stephen) Hazlett; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jeff), Jessica (Jack), Bartholomew (Christella), Michael (Amanda), Stacey, Kevin (Kaitlin), Marlene (Billy), Nick (Stephanie), Kimberly and Andrew (Alissa); great-nieces and great-nephews, Skylar, Wyatt, Lilyanna and Liam; and her faithful companion Twinkle. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 10:00 am, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron with Rev. Father Joseph, Celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at H. B. Moore Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.). Carol's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E.
