Charles Wayne Swihart

Charles Wayne Swihart, 74, went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2019. He was born February 14, 1945 in Akron to the late Earl and Ruby Swihart. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Home Depot on Howe Road and volunteered his time at Stan Hywet Hall where he gave tours to the public. He was considered a person with a green thumb, who enjoyed taking care of his gardens at home, spending time camping and had a great eye for home design.

Charles is survived by his son, Brian (Michele) Swihart; daughter, Crysann Swihart; sister, Dorothy (David) Duncan; niece and nephew, Michael and Michelle, granddaughter, Meagan Swihart, many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Manchester Cemetery, New Franklin, OH 44216 on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
