Chelcie K. Jenkins

Chelcie K. Jenkins, 92, passed away on June 12, 2018. Chelcie was born in Yorkshire, OH to the late Johnson and Ruth(Long) Jenkins and lived in the Akron area most of his life. He was a graduate of North High School, class of 1943; served in the US Naval Air Corps during World War II; was the consummate salesman all his life; he liked nothing more than golfing and watching the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to his parents, Chelcie is preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara; sister Vera Paulus; son David (Susan Freilino) Jenkins; daughters, Lynn (Dick) Nyzen and Sandie (Charles) D'Andrea; grandchildren Laura (Joe) Novak, David (Stacie) Jenkins, Dante (Erin), Charles (Anna), Michael (Tiffany) and Gino (Ashley) D'Andrea; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
