Christopher Kitzmiller

Christopher Kitzmiller, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Chris was a devoted husband to his wife of 45 years, Sue; loving father to Daniel (Rocky), Kathryn, Kristin (Scott Foldi) and Jonathan (Allison); proud grandfather to Vilhelmina, Kendal, Alex, Isadora, Kaleb, Audrey, Kolton, Kaiden, Karter, and Kowen; he also leaves behind many relatives, friends, and Brother Knights.
Chris will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and willingness to assist anyone who asked.  He was employed by Akron Public Schools and was known for his ties for all occasions.
Chris was a true servant of Our Lord.  He was a dedicated parishioner of Blessed Trinity Parish and volunteered for many activities through the years and most recently served on the Parish Finance Council and helped with Senior Luncheons.
Chris was honored to be a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3529 and Fourth Degree Assembly 818 and enjoyed cooking for the meetings.  He developed a love for gardening and supplied friends and neighbors with peppers and tomatoes throughout the summer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 7, 2021, 11:00 am at Blessed Trinity Parish with, Rev. Father Joseph Warner, Celebrant.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.).  Christopher's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.  
Due to Covid-19, we request that those attending the Mass and/or Visitation will practice social distancing and wear face masks.  If you are unable to attend, we understand, your love and prayers will be appreciated.
