To Claire's family: The last time I saw Claire was at the 30th NCHS High School Reunion in New Canaan. Claire was always smiling. Her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse suited her to a tee, because of her compassion for others. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to learn of Claire's passing. We were friends since Kindergarten. We met several times after school in New Canaan and would have great trips together down memory lane. I met her husband before they moved. We also got to meet up at a school reunion. Claire was a wonderful, compassionate and kind person. May she rest in peace.

TO THE FAMILY OF CLAIRE CANO. Claire was a special person, one of God's true children. Imagine the wonders she is seeing today!. Her feeling of loss, confusion, anger and longing at being an adopted child here on earth is all healed now. She poured a lot of energy into trying to make her own family perfect and she loved all of you, especially her grandchildren.. Though I tried to find Claire after she was moved from Barberton, I never could. Her heart for everyone was so big. She is missed.

The thing I remember most about Claire was her love of her grandchildren. I was the craft lady at the library when the oldest of them were younger and she'd always bring them for summer reading club activities. Seeing her with them always made me smile.
