Dane Paul Spinelli

Dane Paul Spinelli, 55, lost his courageous battle with lung cancer and multiple sclerosis. Beloved husband to Patricia (Atchison) "WONDERWIFE" and "DAD" to his four cats. Dane is preceded in death by his mother, Ann Spinelli (Corcelli). He is survived by his father Dominick (Dane); sister Karen Tyndall; brother, Rick; mother-in-law, Libby Atchison; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Deb and Mark Hughes; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Tyndall, Julie (Matt) Severns, Nick and Steve Spinelli and Patrick and Kristin Hughes; great nieces and great nephews, Kaylee Frye, Tyler, Jacob, Jordyn, and Ashlyn Severns; many aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved deeply. Dane grew up in Tallmadge and has lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 23 years. He graduated from Kent State University in 1976. In the 1990's, he owned Mascot Shop on Portage Trail and was active in Cuyahoga Falls Challenger Little League for 12 years. He was often seen at Cuyahoga Falls football and basketball games and Tallmadge volleyball and softball games. In recent years, he was spotted driving around the Lions park area and Rockin' on the River in his wheelchair. Thank you to Palliative Care and Hospice of Summa for your gentle touch and love. We couldn't have gotten through this without you. Funeral service will be Friday, 11:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm and Friday ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home.
