Debra Kay Sega

Debra Kay Sega, nee Myers, passed away on January 4, 2022 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Covid-19. She was born on July 24, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late William and Lula Myers. Debra is a 1970 graduate of Manchester High School and retired from Diebold. She loved spending time with her family, traveling to casinos and going on cruises, and playing bingo with her children and grandchildren. Debra was a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church in Green.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-father Donald Musser in 1996; brother-in-law Frederick Crispin in 2009 . She is survived by her husband, Dennis Sega of Hartville; sister, Shirley (Andy) Kacsanek of Sandusky; brother, Ronald Myers of Suffield; daughter, Andrea (Jason) Walker of Uniontown; son, Timothy (Jennifer) Blood of Hartville; grandchildren, Ty and Elizabeth Walker, Ian and Nolan Blood, and Madeline Burkett.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 followed by a memorial service at 6 pm at Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at a later date. A special thanks to the staff at Akron General Hospital NSICU, especially RN Whitney. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Baptist Church or Hartville Fire Department.
