Donald Lloyd Nicolard

Donald Lloyd Nicolard, 75, of Norton, OH died June 4, 2021 surrounded by his wife and daughters.

Don was born in Akron, OH. He graduated in 1963 from Norton High School. He attended the Akron Barber College before enlisting in the Air Force where he served for three years. Don worked as a barber in Norton, OH. In 1974 he opened Nicolard’s Razors Edge in Loyal Oak, and then Donald Lloyd’s Hair and Nail Studio in 1992. He retired in 2020 after 55 years of cutting hair. Don also served as a Norton councilman for several terms.

Don loved his customers, telling jokes, playing golf, pool, cards and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy (Albright) Nicolard. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Eileen (Boughton) Nicolard; children, Missie (Steve) Sabo, Dawn (Eric) Bilinovich; grandchildren, Sydni and Carson Bilinovich, and Michelino and Rocco Sabo.

The family will greet friends at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

Don will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in a private family service.
