Dorothy L. Dickerson

Dorothy L. Dickerson, 85, our beautiful sweet mother and grandmother went to her heavenly home. She closed her eyes and when she opened them she saw the face of her Savior. Waiting to welcome her home was the love of her life, her husband Dannie; her son, Eric who she had longed to see for many years; her mom and dad, Orval and Georgia Six; brothers Lewis, Danny, David, and her beautiful sister, Elsie. Mom you truly were the wind beneath my wings.

She is survived by her daughter, Danette (favorite son-in-law, Bruce) Bennett; son, Mark Dickerson; sisters, Irene Atwater and Marylou Waters; grandchildren, Bill Bennett, Angie Bennett, Ben Bennett, and Daniel (Caitlin) Dickerson; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Cameron, Chloe and Delilah; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 2 to 4 p.m., where services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 12 p.m., Pastor Randy Baker officiating. Interment at Manchester Cemetery.
