Dorothy Koval, 72, passed away Feb. 4, 2008. Born in Akron to the late Harold and Vivian (Larson) Heskett, Dorothy lived all her adult life on North Hill. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her occupations include The American Red Cross, Akron Jewish Center and the Akron Board of Education. Dorothy loved life. She was an active volunteer for The American Red Cross's summer learn to swim program for 54 years, a teacher's aid at North High School and helped her church as a girl's camp leader and in the genealogy library. Dorothy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Eldonna of Barberton; grandchildren, Kristopher (Jennifer), Matthew (Briane), Heather, Emily and Adam; great-grandchildren, Melanie and Carolyn; and will be especially missed by her Shelties, Shawnee and Happy who are now with her 2 step-great-grandchildren, Lilly and Miranda. Special thanks to Margaret Arthurs and all the other dear sisters at church who new and loved Dorothy. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 106 E. Howe Rd., Tallmadge. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON and ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Thursday at the Latter Day Saint's Chapel. Dorothy's final resting place will be Crown Hill Cemetery.
