Dorothy Suit, 94, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Dorothy was born Tuesday, June 25, 1929 to the late John and Frances (Labelle) Peale and lived in the Portage Lakes area all of her life. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1949 and she was a Majorette. She retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber. Dorothy was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church. She was involved in The Portage Lakes Historical Society and The Coventry High School Alumni Association.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Steele; brother, Tom (Wiladene) Peale; brother, Joe (Corrinne) Blake; niece, Sandee (Larry) Quitter. She is survived by her son, Donald (Robyn) Suit; grandchildren, Michael (Rebecca) Suit, David Suit; great-grandchildren, Elaina, Judah, Shayla; nieces, Kim (Mark) Wright, Judy (David) Meyer; great-nieces, Shaunna, Alyssa; great-great-nephew, Cole; and many other loving friends.
