Dortha Alice Jessop

Dortha Alice Jessop, 90, passed away on January 28, 2018.  She was born July 18, 1927 in Harrison County, WV to Carcy and Bessie Robinson.  She was a member of Akron Baptist Temple and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Dortha was preceded in death by her husband, William Jessop; and son, Ronald Peters. She is survived by her son, David Peters; daughter-in-law, Gwen Peters; grandson, Joshua Peters; sister-in-law, Rita Robinson; and nephews, Terry, John, and Richard and their spouses and children.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.  Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
