Elizabeth "Betty" Dolfen, nee Beres

Elizabeth "Betty" Dolfen, nee Beres, 83, passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.

Betty was born on Friday, June 17, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to the late Louis and Judith (Nemeth) Beres and lived in Norton for 58 years. She graduated from Akron’s Kenmore High School in 1956 and worked at Barberton Hospital in their X-ray department for 20 years. She loved spending time and playing games with her grandchildren and their friends; "Do you want to see a Yahtzee?!"
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and granddaughter, Nicole Webel Bodjanac. She is survived by children, Cindy (Paul) Webel, Denise (Steven) Hoffman, and son, Bob Dolfen; grandchildren, Paul (Veronica) Webel Jr., Renee (Mark) Heston, Danielle (Bryce) Theobald, Lindsey (Nick) Austin, Haley (Zach) DeRosa; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Private services were held. Betty’s final resting place is Lakewood Cemetery in Akron, Ohio. To honor Betty's memory, memorials may made to the Nicole Webel Bodjanac Scholarship Fund, c/o the Norton City Schools Foundation, 2952 Wilbanks Dr., Norton, OH 44203.
