Erik Rick) Jerome Cook

Erik Jerome Cook "Rick", 46, passed away May 23, 2007. Born in Akron, Rick lived in Akron all his life. He was a 1979 graduate of St. Vincent St. Mary High School. Rick was a roofer by trade but worked for Houser Products for 20 years. He also loved animals, fishing and most of al his dog Buck. He loved sports and was a Notre Dame Fan. Rick is preceded in death by his mother Grace. He is survived by his father John (Jean); brothers and sisters, Mark (Denise), Gary, Heidi (Kevin) Campany, Heather (Dave) Jefferys, and Paul; many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Martha Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Rick's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Cook family care of the funeral home.
