Esther E. Bonacci, 98, passed away on April 2, 2018.
Esther was born in Erie, PA, to the late Joseph and Antoinette (Lalla) Penta and lived in Akron all of her life. She was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed music and baking.
In addition to her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bonacci; sisters and brothers, Annie, Mary, Frances, Lena, Minnie, Felix, Vince, and Carl. She is survived by daughters, Rose (David) Madjerich and Toni (Danny) McCoy; grandchildren, Christopher (Aly), Jennifer (Tony) and Danny (Carisa), 7 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron with Rev. Father Edward Burba, Celebrant. Esther's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery.
