Eva M. McDonald

Eva M. McDonald, 71, our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother "Sitho", sister, and aunt, entered eternal life on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was born on Wednesday, September 5, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to the late Edward and Eleanor (Maroon) Abraham and lived most of her adult life in New Franklin.

Along with her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Christopher McDonald.  She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Patrick; children, Dennis (Betsy) McDonald, Michelle (John) Wolfe, and Eric (Miranda) McDonald; her grandchildren, Sadie, Ava, Julian, Kendall, Kamden, Lincoln, and Olivia; siblings, Chuck (Mary Beth) Abraham, Christine Abraham, Kenneth McDonald, and Chris McDonald; mother-in-law, Noreen McDonald; and her nieces and nephews, Megan Abraham, Edward (Abbey) Abraham, Leslie (Shawn) and Emerson Becker; and many other family and friends.
 
Eva worked as an employee of Akron Public Schools for many years working with children with special needs. Her life was dedicated to taking care of everyone and she made that known daily by the way she took care of her children and all of their friends. Eva always made everyone feel welcome and would never turn anyone down for a hug. She had so much love for her grandchildren and enjoyed every moment she got to spend with them. Her love will be carried on forever and she will be greatly missed by all.

The family will greet friends at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis deSales Church, 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319 on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
