Flossi Jackson

Flossie L. (Sunseri) Jackson, 96, passed away October 7, 2006 at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place. Born in Gibsonburg, OH on Mar. 23, 1910 to the late John and Cornelia (Krotzer) Hathaway, Flossie has lived in the Akron area since 1926. She also worked for the O'Neil's Dept. Store for 23 years retiring in 1970. Flossie's loves of her life were her family, sports, and Bingo Along with her parents, Flossie is preceded in death by husbands, Sam Sunseri and Robert Jackson; daughter, Dolly Hardgrove; grandson, Jimmy Hardgrove; sister, Dorothy Hoffman; and brothers, Peter and Dalton Hathaway. She is survived by son, John (Sue) Sunseri; grandchildren Deborah (Bill) Gillespie, Joe and John (Claudia) Hardgrove, Steve (Sharon) Sunseri and Joyce (Jay) Erlandson; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Samuel; sister, Goldie Brandt; many nieces and nephews; and many friends at Sutliff II. Flossie's family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place for all the special care and support. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON with Rev. Bobby Hart officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Flossie's final resting place will be Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa 444 N.
