Fouad Sadie

Fouad Sadie, 97, a great husband, father and grandfather passed away Nov. 8, 2009. Fouad was born in Saghbeen, Lebanon and came to the United Stated in 1967. A man of great integrity and pride, he was a great dad and grandfather whose favorite past times were gardening and spending time with his family, especially his 39 grandchildren. He was very family oriented often cooking meals for the entire family. Our dad will always be in our hearts and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Fouad is preceded in death by his wife Soraya in 1982. He is survived by his children, Dunia (Zohrab) Markarian, Micheline (Chaker) Debs, Michael (Chris) Sadie, Roumina Pamboukis, Lulu McCune, Souad (Brian) Britton, and Elias (Lisa) Sadie; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service Wednesday, 11:00 am at St. George Antiochian Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn with Fr. Louis Mahshie officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at HENESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON and ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Wednesday. Fouad's final resting place will be Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Antiochian Church.
