Frances Janet Schindewolf

Frances J. Schindewolf, 90, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her husband and the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Frances was born Sunday, July 2, 1933 to the late Francis and Ellen (Fulton) Overcashier. She worked for Barberton Citizens Hospital. Frances was a faithful member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and she loved everyone.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Schindewolf; and daughter, Ellen Schindewolf. She is survived by her sons, William (Cherie) Schindewolf, David (Kathleen) Schindewolf, John (Carolyn) Schindewolf; daughter, Mary (Jun) Masui; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, with 1 more on the way; and many other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Road, Akron Ohio, 44319, with Rev. Father Jeremy Merzweiler officiating. An hour of Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. before the Mass at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, OH 44319. A Private Inurnment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery after the Mass.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Parish for the Parish School or Memorare Center in memory of Frances.
