George H. Nettleton

George H. Nettleton, 85, went home to be with the Lord on April14, 2021. He was born January 23, 1936 in Wadsworth, Ohio to the late Hollister and Ruby Nettleton. He was an independent drywall contractor who retired after 45 years of service. George’s favorite pastime was his family and watching his children and grandchildren play or coach their athletic teams. There wasn’t a game he missed! George loved the Lord and he and his wife Sara were very active in the youth ministry for many years.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Sara. He is survived by his daughter, Lorna (Jerry) Harton; son, Craig (Terri) Nettleton; grandchildren, Bethany (Dustin), Joshua, Caleb (Nicholas), Jonathon (Matyra), Daniel, Joee, and Christian.

Friends may call at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. Akron, OH, on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
