Gloria Litwiller

Gloria Litwiller, born 12/9/1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away in Covington, Georgia on the 18th of February 2022.

She was predeceased by father, Robert; mother, Genevieve; brother, Robert; and husband, Larry.

She is survived by her cousins, Pat, Stanley and spouse, Diane, Steven, Julian and Raymond; stepchildren, Keith and spouse, Linda, Yvonne and spouse, Robbie, and Doug and spouse, Wendy; stepgrandchildren, Isabelle and Katie.

Gloria worked for Fairlawn Supply and Concrete Company as Credit Manager most of her working career. She was a founding member of Akron chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and remained an active member until she moved to Georgia in 2011.

She was an avid collector of inkwells and glass, specifically, Cambridge glass.  She had a passion for anything related to dogs.  She had quite a collection of dog statuettes. She enjoyed walking outdoors and her many canine companions. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

There will be a committal service at Greenlawn's Ivy Chapel, 2580 Romig Rd., Akron at 2:00 pm this Thursday, February 24, 2022.
