Grace Marie Weiss

Grace Weiss passed on April 4 2008, with her family by her side. Grace was born Feb 25, 1919 to Mary and Stanley Bascom. She was our rock and our foundation, as well as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. In all of these roles, she was unselfish and had a generous heart, always thinking of and caring for others. Grace is preceded in death by husband, Joseph; brothers, Bill Bascom, Bob Bascom; sisters, Frances Jacobson, Barbara Malone. She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Joe Weiss; daughters, Kim McHenry, Terri (Karl) Lucas; grandchildren, Katrina, Drew McHenry; sisters, Evelyn Bertschi, Julie Bascom, Betty Weiss; and many other loved ones. We will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday and ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Wednesday. Grace's final resting place will be Crown Hill Memorial Park.
