Harold L. Russell

Harold Leon Russell, 87, went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2020. He was born April 4, 1933 in Cherry Tree, PA to the late Clair and Sidera Russell. Harold came to live in Akron in 1956 and retired from Bank One after 37 years of service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Harold was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Edward, Robert and James; sisters, Imogene Pennington and Helen McIlwain.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maryann Sinclair, whom he married on January 17, 1953; children, Thomas Leon Russell, Ronald Lee (LaDonna) Russell, Deborah Ann (Mike) Graves; grandchildren, Joshua Russell, Lindsay (Jesse) Miller, T.J. Russell, Jessica Russell, Lucas (Rylie) Russell, Aaron Graves (Heaven Rios) and Jenna Graves; great-grandchildren, Travis Russell, Jada McMillan, Colton, Presley, Malia Miller, Nova Russell, Kali, Mila and Ezra Graves; and sister, Sara Ganoe.

Private graveside services to be held at East Liberty Cemetery.
