Isabel Ann Giaquinto 
December 25, 1934  -  November 2, 2022

Isabel Giaquinto, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

Isabel was born December 25, 1934 to the late Lawrence and Esther Phillips. After graduating from Kenmore High School, she was employed by Firestone Bank in the savings bond department. She met her husband Pete while traveling with her parents to Venezuela; they married in 1957. After raising 3 children, she returned to work as a school and library monitor for Springfield Local Schools. After graduating from The University of Akron she held the position of Administrative Secretary to the Librarian-Director of The Akron-Summit County Public Library for over 30 years. Isabel was a faithful member of Community Church of Portage Lakes. She loved reading, needlework, volunteering and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her husband Pete; sister Eleanor Archer; and son-in-law Larry McLane. She is survived by her daughters Maria McLane, Anita (Keith) Ross; son Jon (Terri) Giaquinto;  grandchildren Kristen (Josh) Snyder, Jonathon (Jessica) Giaquinto; and great-granddaughter Austyn Rose Snyder.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319, from 4 to 8 PM. Private interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Isabel's name to Community Church of Portage Lakes, 3260 Cormany Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.
