Jacqueline L. Sarver

Jacqueline L. Sarver, 90, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023.

Jacqueline was born Thursday, Dec. 22, 1932 to the late John and Antoinette (Paradeau) Gordon and lived in the Canal Fulton area most of her life. She was a faithful member of  Lockwood United Methodist Church and Trinity United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir, and volunteered in many community service projects. She was an excellent seamstress and loved spending time with her family, cooking and sewing.

In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert "Bob" Sarver; and son, Randall Sarver.  She is survived by her children, Larry (Sharon) Sarver, Dennis (Julie) Sarver, Debra Meadows, and Gary (Shari) Sarver; brothers, Tom (Rose) Gordon, and James Gordon; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Vicki L Sarver; and many other loving family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.  Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Saturday (1:00 pm to 2:00 pm).  Jacqueline's final resting place will be Lockwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
