James H. Carr

James H. Carr, 89, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.

James was born on Thursday, June 30, 1932 in Livingston, TN. He was raised in Doylestown, OH and lived in the New Franklin area most of his life. He retired from Lockheed Martin and served in the US Army during the Korean War.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Carr; mother and step-father, Novaline and Harley Weaver; father, James Carr; and sister, Marie Huth. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Santacroce; granddaughter, Whitney (Justin) Santacroce; brother, Bill Carr; sister, Catherine First; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203 with Minister, Kay Jordan Officiant. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. James' final resting place will be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

James' family would like to extend a special thank-you to Pebble Creek Rehab Center and Akron General Medical Center "2100" for all their care and support.
