James Francis Heil Sr.

James Heil, 69, loving husband of 45 years, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

James was born Thursday, November 6, 1952 to the late John and Pauline (Crane) Heil. He worked for Time Warner for 29 years. James was a faithful follower of the Catholic faith. He loved camping, cooking, and talking to buddies on his HAM radio. James loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Valentine.  He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Heil; son, James (Amy) Heil Jr.; daughter, Alison (Jeffrey) Vaughan; foster son, Tony (Apryl) Swafford; grandchildren, Lorenzo (Erin), Mason, Luke, Amelia, Haley, Aiden, AJ (Paige), Ryder; great-grandchild, Lilliana; a soon to be born great-grandchild, Aubriana; brothers, Richard (Grace), John (Kathy), and Paul (Lois); extended family; Mary, Chris (Amy), Ava, and Sal Lee, and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Service will be Monday, October 17, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 164 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303, at 11 am with Father Norman Douglas Officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, 2022, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310. James' final resting place will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
