James P. Joseph Sr.

James P. Joseph Sr., 79, passed away on April 23, 2021. He was born January 19, 1942 in Newark, OH to Joe and Helen Joseph. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Summit County Environmental. Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Nascar, but mostly loved spending time with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sons, James Joseph Jr., and Steven R. Joseph. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Mike) Herchenroeder; brothers, Jerry, Sam, John, and Bob Joseph; grandchildren, Krystal, Mark, and Jennifer: and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Inurnment at Mt. Peace Cemetery, in Hartville.
