I'm a month late with this, but I needed time to think about it all.

This man took on the task and chore of raising me when he married my mother. I was a terror, for a long time, and probably still am to a degree, but he saw me for the person that knew I would become. He raised me and while I am human and not without mistakes, I'm a wholly better person.
Thank you Dad, I am proud to be your son, even if by marriage. Thank you for being a father I didn't deserve, yet somehow by whatever grace, I became your son. I am forever grateful.
I love you Dad…

I was very saddened to hear this sad news,I remember growing up and going to Rick's house in Kenmore,Jim was there,we hit it off from the start,he always had a joke,he was a funny and pleasant guy to be around,I never heard him say anything bad about anyone, the world lost a good one,I'll miss him terribly, rest in peace my friend, till we meet again in the after life.

Jim took me in and raised me like I was one of his own. The guy was a riot and his love for Cleveland sports teams was something else. So to frost his cake I became a Steelers fan lol.... Always enjoyed the few times in the later years where we could chat and laugh at the stupid stuff that happened when I was growing up. Man, if you got loved ones getting older, cherish your time together......tomorrow is guaranteed to no one. I loved this guy like a father and his passing will leave an enormous void. Mr Waddell, you sir will be missed more than you could possibly know. God Bless you and may you finally be at peace.
