Jean Warner, 89, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born on March 31, 1931 in Akron, Ohio. Jean was a 1949 graduate of Akron South High School and a homemaker. She enjoyed many activities, such as picnics and events with family and friends; singing with the Betty Jane Mother Singers for over 30 years; bluegrass and country music concerts; arts and craft shows; shopping; collecting jewelry, especially earrings and bracelets; she also enjoyed collecting frogs and owls and being patriotic by wearing or displaying anything that was red, white, and blue. Jean was a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luke Warner of 64 years. Jean is survived by her son, Neal (Julie) Warner; daughter, Nora Lindhe; grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle), Bryson (Jerri); great-grandchildren, Bryana (Brandon), Brendan, Ryan Jr., Nate, Kylee and Mason; and great-grandson, Owen.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staffs of Bath Creek and Hospice of Akron Summa Hospital, for their excellent care of Jean.
If desired, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Services will be private. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
