Jeffrey S. Reels

Jeffrey S. Reels, 61, passed away June 24th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. 

Born August 9th, 1960 to Billy and Delores Reels, Jeff lived most of his life in the Akron area. He served as a medic in the United States Army from 1978-1982.

Jeff will always be remembered for his love of a Cleveland Browns game and a good cigar. His chili was some of the best around. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Delores; wife, Tammy J Reels; brother, Mark Reels; grandsons, Jeremy and Joseph Lamp; and special dogs, Blaze and Achillies. 

He is survived by daughter, Rachel Reels; son, Adam Reels; grandsons, Jeffrey Lamp Jr, Jeremiah Lamp and Elijah Reels; siblings, Vickie Roberts, Deborah Gregory (Bill), Judy Madore and Robert Reels; as well as several nieces, nephews and "adopted" family members. 

Services for Jeffrey will be held on August 9th, 2022 at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at 12:45 pm. Cremation has already taken place.
