Jerry M. Sweazy, 81, joined his wife Kathy in Heaven on November 4, 2021. Jerry was born in Murray City on August 28, 1940 and lived most of his life in Norton. Jerry was a simple man and known to most as the “Lawn Mower Man.” He worked at Wright Tool and Forge and B&C Corp before he retired. He loved nothing more than a hot cup of coffee, a sunny day, cold Diet Coke and working in his garage. His wit will truly be missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn Sweazy; parents, Roland and Helen Sweazy; siblings, Lonnie Sweazy, Terry Sweazy, Bill Sweazy and Kathi Shaffer. Jerry is survived by his children, Mary Ann Taylor, Dennis (Coleen) Sweazy, Amy Brown, Brian (Brandi) Sweazy and brother, Tony (Gina) Sweazy. He also leaves behind several grandchildren; special great-granddaughter, Hallie; friend, Chuck Shaffer and his cat, Shmitty.
Friends may call at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 4 – 7 pm. Private family burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
