Joel R. Grissom

Joel R. Grissom, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 following a brief illness. He was born October 9, 1956 in Barberton, OH to the late Thomas and Hassie Grissom. Joel was the proud owner of Akron Machine which was his lifelong dream. He enjoyed working, camping, boating and fishing. He was a member of the former Akron Baptist Temple.

Joel was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; and is survived by daughter, Jodi (Rodrigo); sons, Joel, Dustin; and best friend and girlfriend, Rion; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Rick and Tim; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will greet friends at Bacher Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, OH 44203 on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating.
