So sorry to hear of Johns passing. I am one of his classmates, who was honored to have known him. He was a great guy to be around. I would want to be at calling hours, but unfortunately, like John, I am also fighting cancer. Ill try to come if can. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

John will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be sorely missed. As Kathleens Father-in-law, he quickly became a family member, sharing holidays and various celebrations with us. Jim and John spent many hours on the golf course. He was lovingly known as Uncle Markling by our other grandkids.
Simply put John leaves a void that can never be replaced.
Rest In Peace dear John.
