Joseph Rubino passed away Nov. 28, 2009. Joe was born to Providenza and Antonio Rubino. He attended North High School and served four years in the US Navy. After being discharged, he began employment with the BFGoodrich Chemical Co. He retired in 1988 after 33 years of service. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Joseph; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Josephine, Vito and Lena, Clarence and Rae and Vincent and Adrianna; infant sister, Maria; sister-in-law, Mary Stevens; and brother-in-law, Louis Aloisi. He leaves to mourn, loving wife of 54 years, Angelina (Aloisi); children, Gerald (Rene) Rubino, Providence (David) Nedved and Orlando Rubino; grandchildren, Cassandra (Mike) Krause, Francesca (Michael) Gerbick, Christina and Joseph Rubino; great-grandchildren, Caesario and Carrina Krause; brother, John (Susan) Rubino, sisters-in-law, Aurora Lauretta, Joanne Mira and Carol (John) Flasco; brothers-in-law, Orlando (Lori) Aloisi and Ralph Stevens; special niece, Rosalie Bruno; and many nieces, nephews family and friends. A special thanks for the compassionate support and care provided by Joanne Rubino as well as the doctors and nurses of Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Care. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 9:30 am at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Joe's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Diabetes Association.
