Joseph John Suncire Jr., 81, passed away on Dec. 5, 2007. Born in Akron, Ohio to the late Joseph and Margaret (Craven) Suncire on July 27, 1926, Joseph lived in Akron all of his life. He was a past active member of Northhill Methodist Church, worked for Ohio Edison retiring in 1987 after 43 years of service, and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Along with his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his 4 brothers and sisters including his special brother, Boots "Tony"; and brother-in-law, Bob Beatty. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Beatty) Suncire; daughter, Joyce Larson of Stow; son, Joseph (Sandy) Suncire of Stow; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Shirley Beatty; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Monday, 11:00 am at HENNESSY-BAGNOI FUNRAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON with visitation starting ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time. Joseph's final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Memorial Park with military rites conducted by Ralph Huff Post 1062. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 12360 Weathervane Lane, Akron, OH.
