Joyce Marie Pippert

Joyce Pippert passed away April 7, 2010 of Lung Cancer. Joyce was born in St. Louis, Missouri but lived the last 60 years in Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake. She worked many years at local law firms in the Falls and was an Administrative Assistant at the University of Akron. Joyce volunteered for many years at both Akron City and St. Thomas Hospitals. An avid bridge player, Joyce was a long time member of the Silver Lake Duplicate Bridge Club. She also enjoyed Tuesday night poker with her friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Dick. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Susan Pippert; and grandsons, Colin and Mason Pippert. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 24 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 2121 6th Street, Cuyahoga Falls.
