Judith Ann Vandegrift

Judith Ann Vandegrift, 83, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to the late Frank and Rose (Fonti) Caetta. Judy enjoyed baking for the Coventry Fire Department and the Hospice Care Center. She also had a great love for crocheting and quilting. Judy liked to spend her days on the front porch enjoying her landscaping and listening to her fountain.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Vandegrift, and 3 siblings.  

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mike) Goch and Gretchen (Jason) Cusma; son, Chris (Jane) Vandegrift; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Caetta, Mickey (Elizabeth) Caetta, Chris (Debbie) Caetta, Danny (Kathy) Caetta; sisters, Maria Cathers, Kathy (Steve) Baker, Patty Caetta and Suzanne (William) Tallmon; and many other loving family and friends.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 4153 Lake Vista Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
